Hi! I’m Antionette Kelley. I was born in Chicago, raised in California and settled in Iowa so I could be closer to my family. I got my start into accounting by working as a receptionist for H&R Block. I’ve always had great attention to detail and with a little encouragement I went ahead a took the tax preparers exam. My attention to detail paid off because I scored a 96%. I’ve been in the accounting and tax business ever since.
As they say, “Practice makes perfect” and I’ve had over 30 years to do just that. I enjoy what I do. But most of all, I enjoy working with people. So much so that I finally took the plunge and started my own business. Customer service is something I value highly for myself as a client and as a service provider. What I love the most about having my own business is that it’s more personalized. I don’t view my clients as just another number. I take pride in being able to really get a feel for what each individual or business needs and tailor services specifically to them. I enjoy being able to help my clients understand how and why I do what I do so they feel confident moving forward.
It’s Not All About Work
I also love to bake! Cheesecakes are my specialty. When I’m not working or baking you will probably find me crafting. I enjoy sewing and art. I typically always have a diamond painting project I’m working on. Anything from hummingbirds to waterfalls. It’s a very relaxing craft. And I love being able to share them with family and friends!
